DIGITAL PORTFOLIO PROJECT =D
From this project I learned that there are multiple careers that interest me and also that creating a website isn't as tough as I originally thought. My favorite part of this project had to be the looking at the possible money that I could earn. It would also be nice to earn that money while doing a job that I enjoy. My least favorite part of the project had to be making the website. It took so long and we had to have achievement awards which are really tough to find. I was honest with my answers to the Profile Skills and Skills Inventory. Lucky for me, the results sounded a lot like me so it seemed to be fairly accurate. The results did suggest some things that I would not mind doing after high school. I learned that being a web designer you have a lot of free territory and that I could be my own boss. This really intrigues me and I am looking forward to studying it more.

Distracted Driving
Distracted driving is a very serious task. It can cause many deaths and many more accidents. This presentation shows some of the causes and effects of distracted driving including texting while driving, reading while driving, and talking while driving. People everywhere are driving distracted without knowing the risks and they should stop before they hurt themselves, the other drivers, and their passengers.

Reflection on Online Experience A 2011
Technology is important because it makes difficult tasks, easy. It can take something that could take 3 hours to look up in a dictionary and you type in a word and you have a definition. It has changed by becoming smaller and faster. Everything is now portable and the things that are stationary have unbelievable saving capabilities. I am hoping that everything will become even more portable and we can get faster with our equipment. I am also hoping that more things will become 3-d and we can update that technology to make it even more realistic.
The technology that I use for school work is mainly computers. We use many different websites and applications (such as the Microsoft Office) to get things better and faster. They help organize us so that we may learn better. I use computers for personal use and also cell phones and the Xbox and television. All of these are cutting edge and provide for a fun and interesting experience.
I may use some of these tools to create my own blog one day. I also may use these tools to create better powerpoints and documents. I think that blogging is the most practical for lifelong learning because you can view other's blogs and learn about different aspects of life and also, if you get an educational blog, you can learn about actual subjects. I doubt I will use much of the recording things later in life but it's always nice to know that these things are readily available if need be. My favorite to create was the widgets/gadgets. They have so many that it was interesting to see what they have. My least favorite to create was the avatars. Although it was very humorous, I didn't see much point to making someone online who looked like someone else and making it talk. Especially if you did a woman and you were a man talking.

1) This website is an audio website that allows you to record your voice or upload an already recorded sound. It creates WAVE, MP3, or even MP4.
2) This website was really easy to use. All you had to do was open an account and then click record. It would record it, save it, and allow you to post it somewhere all on one page.
3) I would recommend that Mrs. Fowler use this site in her classes in the future. It's a very nice website, involves almost no personal information, and is incredibly easy to use.
